Student Volunteer Information
As part of our team culture, we are committed to youth development thru community service! Our culture is committed to building strong bodies, minds, and character in student-athletes by leading through service for individuals and teams.
Our team goal is to have each athlete achieve at least 15 hours by 1st day of School for 2025.
2025 TOP FEMALE and MALE Volunteer will earn a Special TEAM Award!
Our Team is committed to building strong bodies, minds, and character in student-athletes by leading through service for individuals and teams. It’s so important to us that our race season awards include bonus points for individuals for service hours and half of our team award is based on the service hours for the student riders on the whole team.
As part LJHS commitment to service we will provide a race jersey to each athlete who complete 15 hours of service before the 1st day of School. 5 hours are to be completed before July 1st and remaining hours can be completed by 1st day of school!

NICA TEEN TRAIL CORPS
Teen Trail Corps supports NICA’s mission to build strong minds, bodies, character, and communities through cycling by creating a culture of service within our community.
Teen Trail Corps supports NICA’s vision to see every youth empowered to be part of a thriving and engaged cycling community by introducing them to the world of advocacy.
ABOUT TEEN TRAIL CORPS
The Teen Trail Corps advocacy framework is built around the four NICA Teen Trail Corps tenets developed to help student-athletes connect with local community efforts.
- Complete four different activities in the respective tenet categories to earn that badge. SPEAK SERVE RIDE RESPECT
- Upon completion of each activity, your coach must verify that you have completed the qualifying activity.
- Repeat this process until all four categories have been completed.
- Earning all of the four tenet badges will boost Teen Trail Corps members to a level of excellence known as a “Teen Trail Corps Captain”. Trail Captains will be eligible for recognition at the NICA Annual Teen Trail Corps Awards as well as a variety of benefits dependent on league participation.
